Juicing fresh fruits and vegetables is a great way to add nutrients, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals to our bodies. Juicing tips

  • Wash and rinse your produce thoroughly.

  • For best results, drink your juice within 24 hours of juicing. 

 

 

What about the pulp?

After juicing, you’ll have the fibrous pulp left over. Save that pulp for use in things like:

  • Muffins, cakes, or other baked goods
  • Smoothies
  • Veggie burgers
  • Pasta sauce
  • Pet treats

You also can freeze it for later use, or compost it.

Green Detox Juice

Need a fresh start? This recipe will help your body naturally detox and eliminate extra water weight. It’s also a good juice to help you balance your blood sugar if you’ve overeaten sweets recently.

4 celery stalks

1 large cucumber

1 pear

1 lemon, peel on

1 small handful of spinach

 

Cut lemon into quarters and cucumber into spears. Core apple. Juice celery, cucumber, lemon, spinach, and apple together. Serve immediately.

 

Carrot Pumpkin Spice Juice

Pumpkins are very nutritious and make great juices. Try it in this recipe below.

1 pie pumpkin

7 long carrots

2 apples

1-inch knob of ginger

Sprinkle of cinnamon

 

Prepare pumpkin by removing rind, cutting it down the center, and removing seeds. Then cut it lengthwise or into chunks. Core apple. Juice pumpkin, carrots, apples, and ginger together. Pour into glass, sprinkle with cinnamon, and serve immediately.

 

Apple Cinnamon Juice

This refreshing juice will help keep sweet cravings at bay and can easily be made into a smoothie by adding a banana. I like using gala or cameo apple varieties, but any type will make a delicious juice.

4 apples (any variety)

2 celery stalks

1 cucumber

Pinch of cinnamon

 

Core apples. Cut cucumber into spears. Juice apples, celery, and cucumber together. Add pinch of cinnamon and stir to combine. Serve immediately.

 

Optional: If you want to make it into a thick smoothie, add juice to a blender with one banana. Blend until smooth and drink immediately.

 

Hummus

Hummus is not only delicious, but it’s a fantastic source of plant-based protein as well. You can make a delicious hummus right in your Champion juicer.

1 can chickpeas

2 beets, roasted and cut into chunks

1 garlic clove

Juice of half a lemon

1 tablespoon of olive oil and/or tahini (or as desired for taste and consistency)

 

Fit the blank screen (or use homogenizing body) onto the juicer body. Alternate chickpeas, garlic clove, and beets for best flavor melding. Mix in olive oil and/or tahini until you have your desired consistency.

 

Optional: Add fresh herbs (dill or basil) and sumac for topping. To make green hummus, replace beets with 2 handfuls fresh spinach.
