Hot Buttered Rum (Butter Batter)

Ingredients

sticks butter
,
room temperature

cups
brown sugar

tablespoon
ground cinnamon
1
tablespoon
ground nutmeg
1
teaspoon
ground cloves
1 ½
ounces
amber rum
Hot water
Biscotti
,
optional, for dipping
Instructions
To make butter batter:
Combine butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves until well incorporated.
For drink:
Add 2 tablespoons butter batter to mug, top with amber rum, and hot water. Stir until butter batter is dissolved and garnish with biscotti for dipping.
