Hot Buttered Rum (Butter Batter)

Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter, room temperature
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 ½ ounces amber rum
- Hot water
- Biscotti, optional, for dipping
Instructions
To make butter batter:
- Combine butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves until well incorporated.
For drink:
- Add 2 tablespoons butter batter to mug, top with amber rum, and hot water. Stir until butter batter is dissolved and garnish with biscotti for dipping.
