Suzi Alfaro is a Sacramento based food and wine aficionado with deep roots in Sacramento and the farming community.  She has a passion for travel and exploring local culture, especially as it relates to food and the arts.

Debbie Cunningham is a longtime contributing photographer for edible Sacramento. When she comes out from behind the lens, you can find her loving on her dogs, playing in her kitchen, and eating her way through the Sacramento region. Her images can be found in several publications, including Comstock’s magazine and Sacramento magazine, as well as her website, Dlcunninghamphotography.com.

Catherine Enfield was one of Sacramento’s first food bloggers before she began freelance writing. She is the founder of several food events, most notably the Sacramento Food Film Festival. 

Chris Floyd shoots food, products, and beverages often in motion. With his ability to shoot stop motion, video or suspend items in the air is his flair for originality. The secret ingredient in every one of Floyd’s shots is the emphasis of fun.

Aja Goare is an Ohio native who has been living in California for the past five years. She has contributed to the Edible Community since 2019 and previously worked as a TV News journalist for six years. She and her husband are frequent travelers and she enjoys hiking, making art, eating adventurous food, and playing with her cat.  

Brett Heyer is a local bar aficionado. He has helped open and tend bar at some of your favorite places in town, including the Grange at The Citizen Hotel and Empress Tavern. Currently, you’ll find him at Camden Spit & Larder. His passion for spirits, great food, and hospitality can be felt any time you see him behind the bar. 

Edye Kuyper is a farm kid from Vermont, she never tires of learning about and contributing to more just, healthy and delicious food systems. She spends her days leading Food as Medicine efforts at CommuniCare Health Centers in Yolo County and decompresses in her Sacramento backyard garden.

Raoul Ortega is a storyteller, visual artist, and an educator through the disciplines of photography, videography/film, and graphic design. Raoul takes a design-minded jazz approach to his work and uses the principles and theories of design and jazz to create compositions strategically and intuitively.

Rachel Valley was born and raised in the Sacramento area. She is a self-taught, available-light shooter who has contributed to local and national magazines, since 2008. Her work also can be seen in the Inside Sacramento book. Most recently, her work helped win first place in the 2020 CNPA California Journalism Awards for Print – Inside Page Layout and Design.
