Course Cocktail

Ingredients
- 1¾ ounces Barr Hill Gin infused with English black tea, recipe below
- ¼ ounce Brucato Chaparral, substitute with an amaro
- ¾ ounce lemon juice
- ½ ounce honey syrup, recipe below
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- Edible flower, for garnish (optional)
For the Barr Hill Infused with English black tea:
- 12 ounces Barr Hill gin
- 1 tea bag
For the honey syrup:
- ½ cup local honey
- ½ cup water
Instructions
- Add all ingredients except edible flower to shaker. Shake, then double strain into glass over big ice cube or on the rocks. If desired, garnish with edible flower.
For the Barr Hill Infused with English black tea:
- Pour gin into glass or porcelain container. Put 1 bag of preferred English black breakfast tea in container and allow to steep for 1 hour. Remove tea bag.
For the honey syrup:
- Add honey and water to a small sauce pan over medium heat. Stir until honey is dissolved. Allow to cool, then transfer to airtight container. Syrup will keep, refrigerated, for up to 1 month.
Notes
Note: It’s okay to substitute a spirit/ingredient brand with same type and flavor.
